A Gorgeous Vibrant & Colorful Bellevue Chantilly Wedding

As we have taken a step back to recharge for the second half of the 2022 wedding season, we can’t help but reflect back on all of the incredible weddings and events we have been a part of this year. Latoja and Zion’s Bellevue Chantilly wedding, for example. It was the perfect reflection of the work we love to do: putting a million gorgeous details together and executing them flawlessly. Their citrus and tangerine color palette was so fresh and so energizing. The second we got the photos back from their wedding photographer (the incredibly talented IMG Artistry), we couldn’t wait to share them here. Vibrant Canary, Tangerine & Fuschia Wedding Design

It might be the wedding planner in me, but good design gives me chills. I loved putting together an incredibly talented wedding vendor team, so make sure you scroll to the end to see the credits! These are the kind of people you want in your corner. Every single detail was vibrant, joyful, and custom to Latoja and Zion. She was an absolute vision in her white wedding dress, and both Zion and his groomsmen looked sharp in their black tuxedos.

Are you considering a first look but are not sure you want to break tradition? If you want a private moment with your soon-to-be-spouse, consider a first touch instead. This was such a sweet moment between Latoja and Zion, we are dying to recreate it!

Outdoor Wedding Ceremony on the Rooftop of Bellevue Chantilly

The sky lounge at Bellevue Chantilly is already a beautiful wedding venue, so we brought in tropical florals and bright accents to really make the space pop! On top of that, the women in Latoja’s wedding party were absolutely stunning in floor-length canary yellow bridesmaid dresses. I absolutely loved the ceremony altar installation we created for them, and we opted for a clear acrylic ceremony stand and clear pillars for the candles by the altar, as to not take away from the luscious statement piece we created for them. I can’t imagine a more jaw-dropping place to exchange your vows!

Wedding Reception Decor & A Room Reveal

The vibrancy of the citrus color palette continued into their indoor wedding reception. Guests were welcomed with a pop of yellow for the seating chart, with gorgeous floral centerpieces enhanced with roses, orchids, and tulips at every table. As I was triple checking every detail, I also met with Latoja and Zion to show them the space. I have to admit – room reveals are my absolute favorite! It’s always rewarding to see months (and sometimes years!) of planning all come together. The only thing that can possibly make it better is the look of pure joy on our bride and groom’s face when they see the space!

We can’t imagine a more royal entry than the grand staircase at this Bellevue Chantilly wedding! Before guests arrived at the reception, Latoja and Zion took a moment to pose with their wedding party. It felt absolutely regal (like the rest of the wedding reception!) and we were here for it.

Fun Wedding Reception at Bellevue Chantilly

We want every wedding we design to be beautiful, but we also want it to be a great time. I don’t think anyone could have stopped Latoja and Zion, together with their family and friends, from having one of the best nights of their lives. The wedding reception was filled with romantic moments (like their first dance!), touching speeches, and a LOT of laughter. We can’t help but think this is the perfect start to what’s sure to be a marvelous marriage!

A Beautiful Summer Wedding Design

This wedding day has come and gone, but I can’t stop melting a little when I look back at this design. It was beyond refreshing to create something so vibrant and bursting with punchy tangerine and citrusy elements! The 2022 wedding season has been so rewarding in so many ways and we have really been pushing the limits over here at JHWE.
