At Jayne Heir, we had the absolute pleasure of planning every detail. Set against the unforgettable backdrop of Hotel Ulysses, this event was a glowing example of how thoughtful design and deep connections can come together in the most extraordinary way. First, we kicked off the luxurious weekend with a cozy welcome dinner, followed by a vibrant main event and ended in an afterparty that carried the energy well into the night. To top it all off, rich red velvet draping and glowing candlelit tablescapes set the scene. Every detail was curated with care and intention.

First, the weekend began with an intimate welcome dinner! Jayne Heir had the joy of planning at the Swann House at Hotel Ulysses. From the moment guests stepped into the space, it felt like being transported into a modern-day romance. Dramatic red florals, cozy lounges, and elegant candlelight set the tone for the celebration ahead. We, at Jayne Heir designed the tablescape with soft linens as the foundation. We layered in gleaming glassware, textured chargers, and lush floral arrangements to bring richness and depth to the room.

Meanwhile, intentional seating arrangements encouraged conversation, with elegant lounge furniture and whimsical accents creating a comfortable yet elevated atmosphere. Guests sipped signature cocktails, enjoyed a carefully curated menu, and soaked in the warm, inviting ambiance. It was the perfect, dreamy beginning to an unforgettable Galentine’s Day weekend.

Galentine’s Day: A Bold Celebration of Friendship

At Jayne Heir, we wanted to take the main event to another level. Something that felt cinematic, sultry, and full of heart. We designed this celebration to blend vintage glam with modern femininity. Naturally, every detail was chosen to enhance the mood and make our guests feel transported.

Guests arrived dressed to the nines in silky gowns, sparkles, and feathers. An homage to classic Hollywood with a modern twist. The fashion alone set the tone for the evening, creating an air of elegance and playful sophistication. From the very start, it was clear this celebration would be something truly special. Meanwhile the space, dressed in rich reds and deep jewel tones, created the perfect backdrop for a dreamy, elevated night.

My team and I styled cozy lounge vignettes with plush seating and vintage-inspired decor to encourage connection and conversation. Guests gathered, shared laughter, raised toasts, and snapped Polaroids to capture the magic of the moment. Every detail—from the crafted cocktails garnished with bold pops of color, to the soft fabrics and flickering candlelight—was designed to create a rich, layered atmosphere that felt both intimate and luxurious.

Meanwhile, the vibe was brought to life by DJ Coco Spinelle, whose playlist of empowering, upbeat tracks kept the energy high all evening long. More than just a party, this event was a love letter to friendship, feminine joy, and the beauty of intentional design.

Late-Night Glamour: The Afterparty

As the evening wore on, the Galentine’s Day celebration transitioned into a spirited afterparty. At Jayne Heir, we designed this portion of the night to feel like a glamorous escape, where sophistication gave way to sparkle and spontaneity. Mirrored walls, plush velvet booths, and golden palm trees set a dramatic, decadent scene—perfect for dancing, storytelling, and unforgettable moments.

Guests fully embraced the vibe, arriving in bold, fashion-forward looks. Think red feathered accessories, sheer gloves, and sequined ensembles that turned every corner into a photo op. We kept the energy high with a curated cocktail menu and lively entertainment that had everyone on their feet well into the night.

Above all, what made the afterparty truly special was the atmosphere of connection. Galentine’s Day reminded everyone in attendance that shared joy is magnified when experienced together, and the afterparty was the perfect conclusion to a full day of unforgettable moments.
