Inspired by their New York City engagement shoot and a deep appreciation for fashion, the couple designed a layout that felt straight out of NYFW. The Morrow Hotel DC transformed into the ultimate high fashion wedding runway.

Guests were seated in a fashion show formation, creating an elongated aisle where each bride could command the moment. Aunsara wore a custom bridal pantsuit by Laury Bride, complete with a sweeping cape that doubled as a train. Brittney followed in a sculpted mermaid gown from Vainglorious Brides, bringing dramatic flair and timeless elegance.

More than a ceremony, this was a bold expression of identity and artistry. The Morrow Hotel DC offered the perfect sophisticated setting. The entire moment was anchored in the elevated, statement-making spirit of a true high fashion wedding.

A High Fashion Wedding Reception That Felt Like Modern Art

The reception was where the high fashion wedding vision truly came to life. Drawing from their engagement shoot at Summit One Vanderbilt in New York, Brittney and Aunsara leaned into a design-forward concept. The mirrored art installation they loved during that session, featuring hundreds of suspended silver orbs, became the cornerstone of our wedding aesthetic.

To bring that vision to life, we incorporated silver orb accents throughout the space. From the sculptural welcome wall to the mirrored custom bar, these details added edge and visual intrigue. A dramatic ceiling installation floated above the couple’s monogrammed dance floor, anchoring the room in statement-making elegance.

Each table was designed with its own unique centerpiece to mirror the couple’s dynamic love story. Rather than replicating the same look across the room, we created a gallery-like effect that felt curated and intentional. This wasn’t just a reception, it was an immersive experience, layered with personal symbolism, fashion-forward style, and bold design choices that defined the tone of this high fashion wedding celebration.

Sorority Hymn & Stroll: Aunsara and her Delta Sigma Theta line sisters performed their hymn, followed by a powerful sorority stroll.
