There’s something special about the energy that fills the room when two people prepare for the biggest day of their lives together. As wedding planners, we’ve had the privilege of seeing this trend where couples choose to get ready together on the rise (at least for part of the morning). Ashley and Cecily started their morning by exchanging notes and enjoying each other’s company before the wedding. Then, once they were changed into their wedding attire, we set them up for a first look outside of the venue.

The black Chiavari chairs effortlessly blended with the venue’s ambiance, highlighting the couple’s impeccable taste. And the two floral arrangements at the head of the ceremony were a sight to behold, adding just the right amount of color and texture to the entire space. The understated decor made a powerful statement- sometimes less is more. It’s not always about the number of trinkets or the extravagance of the display.
