A few photos from their welcome dinner, first.

While we love to say yes to any excuse to travel, do you want to know what our favorite part about planning destination weddings is? The face that our couples are often planning multiple events to celebrate! Jessica and Matthew hosted an elegant welcome dinner for their guests as they arrived in Virginia to celebrate them. Let the festivities begin!

Getting Ready at Raspberry Plain Manor + A First Touch

Firstly, Jessica and her bridal party started the day with excitement, radiating sheer beauty and grace. She looked stunning, embodying a timeless and classic bride. The soft glam makeup and illustrious Hollywood waves added an exquisite touch to her wedding day look. As for Matthew, he and his groomsmen looked dashing in their classic black suits. Their style complemented the elegance of the occasion perfectly.

Instead of a traditional first look, Jessica and Matthew decided to embrace a first touch instead. This concept is beautifully simple yet undeniably intimate. If you are looking forward to that “seeing each other across the aisle for the first time” moment, but still want to share a private moment with your partner before the ceremony, a first touch is the perfect solution. This way you can still cherish a special moment between you, while still honoring the significance of traditional expectations.

Gorgeous Outdoor Wedding Ceremony

The wedding ceremony was held outside at Raspberry Plain Manor. Jessica and Matthew lovingly exchanged personalized vows, declaring their commitment in front of a breathtaking white floral circular arch. Additionally, the aisle was beautifully adorned with delicate white petals, adding to the enchantment of the moment. It was breathtaking and beautiful to witness.

All White Wedding Reception

The wedding reception was adorned with an abundance of crisp, clean, and all-white florals. Jessica and Matthew’s vision of an ethereal and pristine floral design came to life thanks to the talented team at Designs by Oochay. It was truly a sight to behold!

Aside from the floral arrangements, the wedding day signage played a crucial role in setting the overall design aesthetic. What amazed us was that Taylor, the bride’s sister, took charge and personally designed all of the custom stationery and signage for Jessica and Matthew’s special day. From the striking white seating chart to the breathtaking mirror sign, every detail was flawless and added a touch of perfection to the occasion.

Wedding at Raspberry Plain Manor

We can’t finish this up without giving a moment to Jessica’s reception dress (gorgeous!), the late night donut truck, and the grand sparkler exit at the end. Beyond being just beautiful, Jessica and Matthew’s wedding was so much fun. Finally, it was a true joy for everyone in attendance and we couldn’t have been more thrilled to have been entrusted with executing such an incredible event.
